The Uptown Music Collective, located at 848 West Fourth Street in Williamsport, Pennsylvania is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit school of music that delivers high quality music education programs, and high impact performance experiences to area youth. It currently draws program participants from 7 different counties in central Pennsylvania and in its ten years in existence has developed the reputation as the areas premier source of music education.

The Uptown Music Collective was founded by Dave Brumbaugh, a Berklee College of Music graduate and highly skilled professional musician/educator in May of 2000. In the last ten years the school has grown from a sole proprietorship with twenty students and one teacher, to a nonprofit school of music with over one hundred twenty enrolled students and over twelve teachers and staff.

Known by insiders for quite some time as one of Williamsport's best kept secrets, the Uptown Music Collective has become more widely known in recent years for its successful performance program and the large scale performances they put on at Williamsport's beautiful Community Arts Center.
