adamAs a kid, I always loved going to Grandma’s house because of my uncle’s drum set! When I was 10 and the school system offered instrument lessons, I jumped at the chance and began a life-long obsession with drumming and music. After high school, I enlisted in the Army and attended the Army/Navy/Marine Corps School of Music, where I took Music Theory and Ear Training¬†and played in: concert, jazz, rock, marching bands and percussion ensembles. Since returning home to Montoursville, I have played with several bands, including Lyonnesse(who won a Battle of the Bands), local rock, dance, and party favorite: the Flu Shots(formerly Strickly Business), and now Aftermath. Through the years I have also worked as a Sound, Light, and Stage Technician for other bands, artists, and shows in different venues from bars and clubs to arenas and theaters. I have been teaching drum lessons, and workshops at the Uptown Music Collective since 2008 and have really enjoyed my time here. Through thick and thin, music has always been a fun and positive aspect of my life, so I am very pleased to be able to share my 35+ years of musical experience with the younger generation.
