“Ziggy played guitar…”, but he was also David Bowie’s rock star alter ego who acted as the messenger for extraterrestrial beings. At least that’s the storyline of the concept album of the same name that Rolling Stone Magazine calls “one of the best rock albums ever.” Over three magical nights (February 23rd, 24th, and 25th, 2017), in the intimate setting of Williamsport’s Community Theater League, the Uptown Music Collective will present The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust: A Tribute to David Bowie, featuring music from this landmark album, alongside the “thin white duke’s” most well-known songs. Due to great demand, we’ve added a 4th performance on February 25th, Saturday at 2:00. Tickets are on sale NOW and are only available from the Community Theatre League box office or website ( NOTE: The Collective’s CTL shows usually sell out quickly due to the small theater size, so make sure you get yours before they are gone!! This show is sponsored in part by M&T Bank, The Hartman Group, & State Farm Kellen Moore Agency
