ABOUT SITE B

Site: B is the Uptown Music Collective’s answer to the community’s need for a professional performance venue and arts-based youth center for area teens.  It  features weekly performances by local, regional, and national musical acts that appeal to the 13-18 year old age group of the greater Williamsport area.  Space on the walls are dedicated to the display of artwork by area artists with an emphasis on the artwork of young people.  There will be monthly events such as open mic nights, art shows, clinics, workshops, and classes.

Ticket prices and admission costs for performances and events at Site: B are kept to a minimum, so teens from all social and economic segments of our community can be included.  The performances feature artists and genres that appeal to young people, as well as less familiar styles such as Jazz, Blues, Avant-Garde and Modern Classical. 

The renovation of the Site: B space was made possible through the generous donations of local businesses and individuals, as well as grants from The Woodcock Foundation for the Appreciation of the Arts and the Williamsport
Lycoming Foundation.
