The Uptown Music Collective offers a unique and powerful educational program that has a powerful impact on it's participants.

One hundred and twenty students from seven counties in central Pennsylvania attend lessons, workshops and classes at the school each week.

The Uptown Music Collective provides young people regular one-on-one contact with positive minded, highly educated, music professionals.

The Uptown Music Collective provides a positive peer group for young people in central Pennsylvania.

The Uptown Music Collective is deeply invested in the community of central Pennsylvania and regularly organizes and takes part in events for people in need.

The Uptown Music Collective has stood the test of time by continuing to grow, adapt and improve over it's ten years in existence.

The Uptown Music Collective enriches the local music and arts scene with its vibrant youth powered performances.

The Uptown Music Collective strives never to turn away a student because of their inability to pay.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR MONEY?

The Uptown Music Collective is a lean, mean, music making machine! We strive to keep administrative costs to a minimum, keeping the focus directly on our programs and on the kids we teach. 100% of the money you donate to the Uptown Music Collective will go directly to helping the school deliver its educational mission. Unlike federal programs, the Uptown Music Colletive does not spend your generous donations on expensive toilet seats or monogramed polo shirts for the staff. Instead, your dollars put power into the fingertips, confidence in the voices and knowledge into the minds of young musicians,

Funds donated to the UMC’s General Fund, Site: B Program and iOn Uptown in the last year were used for:

• Tuition support for students in need
• The purchase or repair of Music Equipment for in-house use
 Repair of numerous guitar and bass amplifiers
 Purchase of (2) Yamaha Tour Custom Drum Sets
• Site: B Program facility expenses
 Rent Support
 Utilities Support
• iOn Uptown Program Purchases and program support
 Laptop Computer for monitoring camera feed
 Flip Camera
 A second hi-def camera for multiple camera angles
 Partial support of program directors salary

Funds Donated to the Performance Program were used for the purchase of dedicated program equipment including:
• Marshall half-stack Guitar Amplifier
• Rocktron Talk Box Guitar Effect
• Wireless Headset Vocal Microphone
