Friends in Low Places:

The Music of Garth Brooks &

The Women of 90s Country

January 28th – 7:30 PM

In the 1990s a new country sound emerged on FM Radio that brought the music back to the mainstream. Artists such as Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, The Chicks (formally The Dixie Chicks), Faith Hill, LeAnn Rimes, and more filled the airwaves with an incredibly popular mix of contemporary pop and traditional country music. In Friends in Low Places, the Uptown Music Collective’s students will pay tribute to these artists and the music that made them famous during this special one-night-only fundraising concert for the non-profit school of music. A show not to be missed…don’t forget your boots and cowboy hats!

Note: Tickets for this performance will be “reserved seating”, no longer “general admission”. You will pick your seats on the CAC website when you order tickets!
