THANK YOU!! It truly was “Nothin’ But A Good Time” as the Uptown Music Collective returned to the Community Arts Center stage last night for its one-night-only fundraising concert – Nothin’ But A Good Time: Revenge of the ‘80s Hair Bands! We had over 1,200 enthusiastic fans and friends in the house rockin’ with us…the first time we have seen one-night numbers like that since January of 2020!! It takes a lot to put a show like last night’s together and we would be remiss if we didn’t take a moment and thank everyone involved…

A major thanks to this year’s UMC partners including Geisinger’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, Hudock Capital Group, UPMC, Chartwell Hotels, KFC Williamsport, The Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships, The Kiessling Group of Janney Montgomery Scott, Lycoming College, Woodland’s Bank, Marco Technologies, Williamsport Sun-Gazette, FASTSIGNS, Pennsylvania College of Technology, The Brickyard, Pepsi of Williamsport, The Hartman Group, and Java Momma Inc for making this amazing performance opportunity possible!

Thank you to our media sponsors WZXR along with all of Backyard Broadcasting, Lamar Advertising, The Graphic Hive, Engage Media, 92.1 WSQV, and NorthCentralPA.com for giving us the support to make a show like this happen!

Shout out to official UMC Photographer Wayne R. Palmer for shooting the performance.

A big thank you to our friends and local music legends Tony Harlan and Jimmy Lovcik for letting us borrow some of the authentic ‘80s style guitars we used last night and shout out to Kendall Palmatier & Bre Eisenhardt for their expert camera work!
HUGE thank you to our Students & Parents for your unwavering commitment to the UMC!

’80s hairbands

January 29th – 7:30 PM

This One Night Only  Fundraising Performance will be held at the Community Arts Center, in Williamsport, PA.

The students of the Uptown Music Collective return to the Community Arts Center for ONE NIGHT ONLY to present Nothin’ But A Good Time: Revenge of the ‘80s Hair Bands on Saturday, January 29th at 7:30 pm. This is the school’s “people’s choice” show, the result of fans casting their votes in the summer of 2021.
All proceeds from this concert will be going to support the school’s scholarship fund as well as its class and workshop initiative which is offered free to all students.

This concert will pay tribute to some of the definitive “hair bands” of the 1980s including Poison, Motley Crue, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, Warrant, Def Leppard, and more brought to life on the CAC stage as only the Collective can!
