In the growing music and arts scene of North Central Pennsylvania, we’re proud to be able to contribute the talent of our students to community events and performances through our Community Performance Program.

It’s part of our commitment to developing the whole musician in our students, and to connecting our community to music.

We want to give our learners as much real-world musical experience as possible, and the CPG program offers them the opportunity to refine their style in a specific genre, work alongside their peers, and gain exposure as high-caliber musicians at a young age.

Our Groups have performed at a wide variety of community and private events organized by companies, individuals, and organizations.

In the past year UMC Community Performance Groups have been featured at over 70 events including appearances at The Little League World Series Opening Ceremonies and Champion Game, The International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN, The Billtown Blues Festival, the Harrisburg Jazz and Wine Festival, the Lock Haven University Jams Festival, and the Backyard Broadcasting Set the Night to Music event.

These young performers are known for their musical abilities, professionalism, and reliability, and they’re eager to play for anyone who will listen.
