My freshman year of college was great, flew by! When I’m done with my school work I usually try to keep myself busy by practicing or learning songs. I’m hoping to be able to gig around town next year if I have more free time!”

At the moment, all I have are youtube videos of old performances. Hopefully, in the near future, I will be playing sets around Williamsport or Bloomsburg.

“The Collective taught me how to be reliable and responsible. I would be responsible for learning my songs on time, and reliable because my friends and fellow students were counting on me to have my assignments learned. For me outside of the Collective, I carry these skills with me everywhere because they apply for everything. In friendships, and relationships you should be reliable. In a work setting, you should be reliable and responsible as well.”

“The most valuable lesson I learned through the Collective is PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.

“Any time I am stressed out or anxious, I play or listen to music. For me, music is a release and always has been.”

I have vowed to continue to support and come back to watch my friends continue the UMC legacy as often as I can, and I have kept up with that promise.”

“The Collective is very unique compared to anywhere else who offers lessons. The Collective allows students to not only learn but build and grow off of what they’ve been taught. They give students opportunities that are once in a lifetime for some. Students get the chance to direct shows, not only perform in them. The UMC is full of dedicated students, who put work, time, and passion into everything they do, as well as the staff of the Collective.”
