Private Lessons At the Uptown Music Collective in Williamsport, Pa

Guitar lessons and performances helped shape the musician I am today. It encouraged me to dedicate my life to my passion for the guitar. It provided my first public performances and even recording studio time! I am now happy to be on the Board of Directors for UMC.”

Lessons with Dave Brumbaugh refined my self-taught approach to playing guitar. Dave made me use my pinky finger and double pick which increased my playing ability and speed by 25-50%! I learned to perform with other musicians in a band format as well.

“I joined the UMC Board of Directors, host weekly open mic nights to encourage other musicians to perform publicly, contribute to UMC scholarship funds, and interact with current UMC students.”

“The UMC is one of the best parts of Williamsport. It’s a fantastic non-profit music school that teaches music to hundreds of children and adults every year. Many graduates go on to a professional music career with a great education and stage experience. It also puts on several major shows each year at the Community Arts Center and Community Theater League.”
